Assoc. Prof. Ekaterina Todorova, PhD has a master's degree in Speech Therapy and a PhD degree in Psychology. Works in the field of Speech and Language Pathology. She is Associate Professor of Public Health at the New Bulgarian University. One of the leading specialists in the field of developmental dyslexia in Bulgaria. She is the author of the monographs Diagnosis of language deficits in dyslexia (2005), Specific articulation disorders during childhood (2013), Dyslexia (2007, 2008, 2016), the textbook Articulation disorders - a guide to therapy (2009, 2014, 2018) and on over 60 scientific articles and studies. Since 2006, she has been a full-time lecturer at the New Bulgarian University. She is a member of the management board of the Institute for Mental Health and Development-Sofia, Bulgaria, and the Bulgarian Dyslexia Association. She is a member of the National Association of Speech Therapists in Bulgaria and the Association of Psychologists in Bulgaria. She is the author of a program for the identification, training, and evaluation of students with dyslexia at the New Bulgarian University. She is the director of the Support Centre for Students with Special Educational Needs at the New Bulgarian University.
