Summary

Assoc. prof at the Department of Nature Sciences at New Bulgarian University with 10 plus years as a university educator. Other professional experiences include program consulter and tutor. Research interests cover the fields of geoarchaeology, natural minerals, and new composite materials mineralogy.

Education: Ph. D (2004) and M.S. (1996) in geology at the Faculty of Geology and Geography, Department of Mineralogy, Petrology and Economic Geology at Sofia University “St. Kl. Ohridski with two specializations at ЕТН – Zurich, Institute of Geochemistry and Petrology (2001 and 2003). Ph. D. thesis - "Fluid inclusions in quartz from the lead-zinc deposit Yuzhna Petrovitsa, Madan ore field". Master thesis "Comparative morphological and crystal-chemical study of tourmalines from the Vitosha mountain".

Professional Membership: Bulgarian Geological Society.
