- Learning and teaching English as le and integrated content and language learning: This line of research focuses, on the one hand, on the teaching and learning of foreign languages in all educational levels and explores some of the affective and/or methodological aspects that can make an impact on quality.
- Translation, interpretation and intercultural mediation: This line of research comprises three main fields of study: firstly, a theoretical reflection covering a range of different schools of thought and disciplines; secondly, the practical study of translation, interpreting and intercultural mediation understood both as a process and a product, that aims to provide solutions to specific challenges and problems, taking into consideration the use of IT tools; and thirdly, the application of the results of the afore-mentioned objectives in teaching and professional spheres.
