Summary

- Lexicon research with handwritten texts of different historical periods: The importance of the lexicon to recognize the configuration of Spanish trends in the Canaries and America, and the current uses of this vocabulary, leads us to present this line. It seeks to analyze and review in the light of new quantitative and qualitative methodologies, synchronic and diachronic aspects of the lexicon of said talks.
- Resolution of problems related to applied linguistics: The social interest of solving language-related research problems in the European Framework has been detected. The proposed methodology is based on linguistics as a science plus the contributions of other disciplines. The selection of materials will be related to the different needs or problems detected in the teaching / learning process of a language, although it is possible to design the research in another context or situation
