Summary
This is an interdisciplinary center that brings together historians, lawyers (and ultimately sociologists) who study the connections between history, politics and law, in particular "transitional justice" and the processes of legal, symbolic and political exclusion after regime change in a comparative way. Thus, it covers the areas of constitutional law, human rights, international and national criminal law, judicial behavior, research on political transformation and transitional justice, modern history, democratization and political economy.
