Summary

The specialization of the center is the advancement of applied and fundamental research in the field of clinical practice, with a particular focus on evidence-based psychotherapy. The center's activities encompass three key areas:
Clinical practice, which, in the initial phase of the center's operations, would focus on continuing projects, utilizing the team's achievements, and further developing SWPS University's specialization in psychotherapy and clinical practice supervision (in Warsaw and branch faculties). Implementation and research activities, including the continuation of studies on PTSD prevention, factors influencing the effectiveness of psychotherapy and prevention, taking into account individual differences and cognitive processes, depending on available funding. Training and educational activities, aimed at improving teaching methods in psychotherapy and cognitive-behavioral supervision, based on the Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy School.
